Our Vision
As a registered non-profit organization, we proudly take responsibility for organizing and producing all M.S.L.V.N.P. events. We welcome and encourage partnerships with sponsors who share our mission to empower and celebrate the beauty and resilience of Samoan women within the Las Vegas community.
We also welcome local businesses, volunteers, vendors, and sponsors who are inspired to help us bring this dream to life. Together, we will make the 2025 pageant a meaningful and memorable celebration. This year holds special significance as we honor the origins of this pageant—first established in 2011 with the crowning of Lavinia Fifita Thompson.
In July, we will witness the symbolic passing of the crown and usher in a new chapter, one that strengthens our connection to the Polynesian community and builds lasting ties throughout Las Vegas.

Our Story
The Miss Samoa Las Vegas Nevada Pageant stands as a proud cultural institution dedicated to celebrating Samoan heritage, empowering young women, and fostering leadership within the Samoan community of Las Vegas.
The pageant was originally founded in 2010–2011 by Galaxina Tago, marking a historic milestone for the Samoan Community n Nevada. That inaugural era crowned Lavinia Fifta Thompson as the first Miss Samoa Las Vegas Nevada, setting a legacy that continues to inspire future generations.
After a period of dormancy, the pageant was officially revived in 2024–2025 with the formation of the Miss Samoa Las Vegas Nevada Pageant Organization (MSLVNVP). This revival was led by a committed leadership team determined to restore the pageant’s mission and expand its impact. The organization was established with dedicated officers Galaxina Tago, Travis Tanuvasa, Nurana Faasa, and Myra Timoteo, whose collective vision centered on cultural preservation, youth empowerment, and community engagement.
On July 5, 2025, the Miss Samoa Las Vegas Nevada Pageant proudly hosted its second official pageant, marking a powerful return to the stage. The event showcased four courageous and accomplished contestants—Lakena Moananu, Theodora Tauanu’u, Tahliea Bernard, and Jaeda Lafaele—each exemplifying resilience, confidence, and deep cultural pride. That evening culminated in the crowning of Lakena Moananu as Miss Samoa Las Vegas Nevada 2025, honoring her excellence, leadership, and commitment to service.
Looking ahead, the Miss Samoa Las Vegas Nevada Pageant continues to grow with purpose and passion. The third pageant event is scheduled for July 2026, reaffirming the organization’s dedication to uplifting Samoan women and strengthening cultural identity within the Las Vegas community.
Through tradition, leadership, and unity, the Miss Samoa Las Vegas Nevada Pageant remains a beacon of pride—honoring the past, celebrating the present, and inspiring the future.
