
Nurana Pili-Faasa
With over two decades of teaching experience, Nurana Pili-Faasa has dedicated her life to empowering others through education, culture, and community service. She began her career in American Samoa before joining the Clark County School District (CCSD) in 2007. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and two Master’s degrees from the University of Phoenix — in Curriculum & Instruction and Administrative Leadership — along with a Science degree in Agriculture - Crop Science.
Beyond the classroom, Nurana is an active advocate for youth development through the City of Las Vegas’ ReInvent After School Program and is deeply involved in faith-based outreach. She also proudly contributes to the Miss Samoa Las Vegas Nevada Pageant, celebrating her Samoan heritage while uplifting young women in leadership and cultural pride.
Originally from American Samoa, with family ties to Mapusaga Fou, the Kingdom of Manu‘a, and Malaela, Upolu, Nurana carries her cultural roots with pride. Now living in Las Vegas, she has been happily married for over 30 years, raising five children and cherishing four grandsons. Her unwavering commitment to education, faith, and family continues to inspire all who know her.

Myra Timoteo
Born in Fiji with proud Rotuman and Samoan roots, Myra Timoteo moved to the United States at age 10, first settling in California before making Utah her home. She found her voice through Polynesian dance, turning her passion into purpose by founding Las Vegas Hula in 2007. The studio has become a beloved space for sharing and preserving Polynesian culture.
Myra also serves as Treasurer for the Miss Samoa Las Vegas Nevada Pageant, empowering young Samoan women to embrace leadership and cultural pride.
As a proud mother of seven, family remains at the heart of everything she does. Through teaching, entertaining, and uplifting her community, Myra continues to celebrate her heritage and inspire those around her.

Travis Maliko Tanuvasa Seiuli
Born and raised in Compton, California, with roots in Nofoalii, Vaiusu, and Falelatai, Upolu, Samoa, Travis Maliko Tanuvasa Seiuli is guided by the values of family, integrity, and service.
After high school, he served a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Apia, Samoa, from 2010 to 2012 — an experience that deepened his cultural pride and commitment to uplifting others. He later pursued his education at Ensign College in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Travis currently works at Southern Hills Hospital, contributing to his community’s well-being while developing skills for his future career. In 2016, he founded Lottaline Foalima, a business focused on high-quality services rooted in cultural values.
This fall, he will begin nursing school at Galen College of Nursing, combining his passion for service with the expertise to make a lasting impact. As a proud uncle to 12 nieces and nephews, Travis strives to be a positive role model, staying grounded in faith, hard work, and cultural pride.

Galaxina Tago
Born in American Samoa, raised in the City of Light, and now thriving in the Entertainment Capital of the World, Galaxina has proudly called Las Vegas home since 1991. With a degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, she is a proud Samoan trans woman, entrepreneur, and passionate community leader.
Galaxina wears many crowns — quite literally. She’s the founder of the United Territory of Pacific Islander Alliances, Secretary of Etena Fou Youth, and a founding member and Co-chair of Miss Samoa Las Vegas, where she continues to uplift and inspire her community. She’s also held the prestigious title of Former Imperial Royal Empress of Las Vegas, NV — a testament to her unwavering dedication and leadership.
Beyond her advocacy, Galaxina is a powerhouse of creativity. As a skilled interior decorator and traditional Samoan costume designer, she brings culture to life with every stitch and detail. Her passion for educating others about the richness of Samoan customs ensures that this vibrant heritage continues to shine for generations to come.
Whether she’s championing her community or crafting cultural masterpieces, Galaxina’s impact reaches far beyond Las Vegas — blending her roots with an entrepreneurial spirit that inspires the world.
