With over two decades of teaching experience, Nurana Pili-Faasa has dedicated her life to empowering others through education, culture, and community service. She began her career in American Samoa before joining the Clark County School District (CCSD) in 2007. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and two Master’s degrees from the University of Phoenix — in Curriculum & Instruction and Administrative Leadership — along with a Science degree in Agriculture - Crop Science.

Beyond the classroom, Nurana is an active advocate for youth development through the City of Las Vegas’ ReInvent After School Program and is deeply involved in faith-based outreach. She also proudly contributes to the Miss Samoa Las Vegas Nevada Pageant, celebrating her Samoan heritage while uplifting young women in leadership and cultural pride.

Originally from American Samoa, with family ties to Mapusaga Fou, the Kingdom of Manu‘a, and Malaela, Upolu, Nurana carries her cultural roots with pride. Now living in Las Vegas, she has been happily married for over 30 years, raising five children and cherishing four grandsons. Her unwavering commitment to education, faith, and family continues to inspire all who know her.
